Satellite Communications: Status and Trends
DURATION: ONE DAY
COURSE NO.: 3030
COURSE SUMMARY
The satellite communications industry is experiencing major expansion. This seminar covers the entire business, which includes regulatory and financial issues, vendors, operators and service providers it includes but is not focused on engineering and technology. Established GEO systems are profitable and growing, and there are strong winds of privatization throughout the world. There are many GEO and LEO systems being launched for a variety of new services by satellite. The promise of Ka-band is a very exciting prospect for all segments of the industry worldwide.
COURSE MATERIALS:
Include extensive notes and reference materials.
|
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Business and service developers who want to reach out to the world with products and services. Architects and planners for telecommunications needing to know of alternative systems and sources. Attorneys needing an understanding of satellite systems and risks. Financial analysts and telecom executives who need to know the global participants, the opportunities and the risks involved in regulatory procedures, construction and launches. Engineers and engineering managers wishing to learn of business trends in the satellite industry. |
|
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
